Krk Nordenstrom is the host of 48 Hour Heroes: Origin Stories
He's been running the 48 Hour Film Project in Seattle since 2005 and added a horror themed edition in Seattle in 2013. In 2019, along with his co-producer, Kris Flink added Montana to the 48 Hour Producer responsibilities and in 2022 added San Francisco to their duties.
In the past 17 years, running several dozen events, attending Filmapalooza numerous time, and even going to see 48 Hour screenings in other cities, he has met a fascinating cast of characters who either participate in the 48HFP or run the events in cities around the world.
Every single one of these fine folk is his hero... and every good superhero story deserves a good origin story.

Indra Van 't Hooft is the producer and occasional guest host of the show.
In the Netherlands, Indra participated in 42 48HFP events before headquarters decided to snatch her up and utilize her incredible experience and insight into the 48HFP as a City Producer for Arnhem and Eindhoven, NL. Her city winning film in 2017 went on to screen at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival as part of the 48HFP showcase at the Cannes Short Film Corner.
Indra brings a much needed, delightful energy, and perspective to the show along with her deep insider knowledge of what goes on during a 48HFP event weekend both as a participant and city producer.
